I was so excited to decorate my new cabinet for the holidays.  I had finished putting cute Halloween things around inside weeks ago...just had not gotten around to really doing much to the top.

For some reason my husband doesn't think I should be on a ladder with a broken hand.   So, this is it....the top of the cabinet.
Not what I had in mind...but it will have to do..that is until I find where Randy has hidden the ladder.

I Love Black Cats!!
My grandmother would drive completely out of her way to avoid them....truly...I drove her crazy.

Jack's Family Reunion

Skeleton Jack's Pumpkin Patch

Located at the base of our staircase.....
Skeleton Jack has set up a family reunion.
All are invited!

What a fine family Jack has.

If only these photos could talk.
Come back and visit anytime the reunion will last until the stroke of midnight on October 31st.
I waited until we got more batteries to take these photos, so that all my candles would be lite.  Not sure it made any difference.  I could not figure out how to take the photos so that the effect of the candles could be seen.

I know it looks like I have a robo cop hand...but it is wonderful compared to the former cast of armor.  I can take it on and off to shower.  YEAH!!!
The darling card is from my sweet friend Joni and her husband Sid.  Thank you....it is so sweet.

Just one more inch......

That's right I just had to move my garden urn one more inch...so it would be just right!!!  It is broke...oh..& so is my hand!!!  Ouch!

I decided the urn needed to be moved just ever so slightly ....and before I knew it ....the urn had given way and had crushed my hand.

Just one more time.....will I ever learn?

Just a Country.....Pumpkin!

My husband and I drove out to the cutest little shop yesterday....
It looks like something you would find in Arkansas.  They hand make all of their wares.  I found this darling pumpkin sign to add to my fall bike out front!
Now I just need to find a cornstalk and more pumpkins.

Halloween Magic

One of my most favorite blogs....
Curious Sofa featured the cutest photo in one
of their wonderful posts.
It pictured a pair of legs "witches" coming out of a
huge urn.
Debbie the owner of the
Curious Sofa store has the most wonderful
visual displays ever!!!
She has just revamped her website for those of us who
don't live in the Kansas City area.  Check it out.
P.S.  My witches legs are witch stockings.

The Phantom, Poe and King...Happy Halloween!

Several years ago "The Phantom of the Opera" was in Oklahoma City.  I was very fortunate to have friends invite me to go along with them.  It was the most amazing evening....will remember it forever.  I saved my program....as you can see.

I had to much fun playing over at picnik.com with this photo.  They have so many
fun Halloween features.

My son was at the house a week or so ago and walked by the entry way and
said...Mom why is there a photo of Edgar Allan Poe in the hallway?
He noticed!!  Now that's scary.
