"There's a little pumpkin coming!"

Next weekend I am hosting a baby shower here at the house.  Since it is fall....my theme is pumpkins.

This will be the guest book area.

 

 This is how my day started out.  
Cleaning!

 This sewing machine cabinet, was what I thought was a great find off of Craigslist.  I was so thrilled..the sewing machine inside had the special ruffler attachment.  

 Once home...it did not work.  The repair estimate was for more than a new machine.  Mister Mister
removed the broken machine and painted the cabinet white for me.  

 I then added fabric and jute trim to the faux  drawers.  Now just an accent piece.
Making lemonade out of lemons....
that's what it's all about!

I have had this sweet chair forever.
One of my most favorite pieces.

  I am still not finished with the framed burlap.
Thinking of stenciling "Welcome" over the top
of the smaller frame.

The day of the shower....I need to think of something clever to replace the 31.....any ideas?

The vintage screen door and awning have been outside all summer.  It was a great back drop for our shade garden area.
